How to turn off the Instagram like count
Hide likes count while posting
- Launch the Instagram app on your phone or tablet.
- To post an image, swipe from left to right.
- At this point, pick an image to publish from the gallery and press Next until you get to the sharing step's final screen.
- At the bottom, click on "Advanced settings."
- Turn on the "Hide Like and View Counts" button.
Hide the number of likes on a specific Post
- Launch the Instagram app on your phone or tablet.
- Click or tap on the profile icon in the top right.
- Locate and open the post from which you want to hide the number of likes.
- Next, click the three dots in the post's upper right corner.
- Select "Hide like count."
The like counts for that specific post are no longer visible. It won't be possible for anyone to see how many people liked that specific post.
Hide the number of likes on all posts
- First, launch the Instagram app on your phone or tablet.
- Click or tap on the profile icon in the top right.
- Select the hamburger menu from the top right corner by tapping it (it looks like three horizontal lines).
- Navigate To settings.
- Click on Privacy.
- Click on Posts.
- Activate the button labelled "Hide Like and View Counts."
The number of likes and even views on each of your posts will now be hidden.
